Monster

For my business site I chose Monster.com. This is a website that can be used by employers to make it known that they have openings for jobs. And for future job lookers, who can make homepage, build a resume, and market themselves as worthy applicant. This website also provides helpful tools for career planning and interviewing.
This site is helpful in the business world because it gives the employer a chance to read up on an applicant before actually deciding to interview. It is also a way for applicants to appropriately market themselves in a positive manner.

Word Reference

The educational site I decided to use was wordreference.com. It is basically an online translation dictionary. Simply type in a word or phrase and the online dictionary will translate it for you. It has a wide range of languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Russian. Along with simply translating the word from language to language, it is also capable of conjugating the word in your desired language. it will also provide commonly used phrases that include the word that you have looked up.
This website can be used in the educational field for obvious reasons. It can be used by students taking a foreign language that need a convenient and useful reference. This site can also be used by teachers, for this website provides a miniature version of the site to post on websites such as Moodle as an extra helping aid for students.

Flickr Mobile

The cell phone technology I decided to use was Flickr Mobile. Flickr Mobile is an application that allows you to take photographs with you mobile phone, and upload them to your Flickr account. You can edit red eye, crop and resize, and organize them into separate folders for your personal convenience. This app also allows you to tag family and friends in the photos that you have uploaded.
Flickr Mobile comes in very handy in my everyday life. Being from California and having all my family there, Flickr Mobile gives me a way to document my time here in Louisiana. From pictures from Mardi Gras, to LSU football games, and photos of Mike the Tiger. It’s a fun and easy way for my family and friends to see what my life is like in Louisiana.
